Xavier's Lament

It was a dark day. Rain fell from the heavens, cold and unfeeling. A place no longer found in history, for it was already beyond such meaningless words.
Time…it had no place here. It may have been decades, centuries, since this had happened. But none of that mattered. Nothing else mattered. It was all about the now, the present.
Standing under the rain, it felt refreshing; in a strange way… the icy droplets as if washing clean the stains that clung to the soul.
But…it wasn't that. No, it could never be like that, ever again.
Rain brought back hazy memories of tears, of sadness

Dancing In The StreetIt is a cold, gray day made poetic by silvery rain and brickwork streets.
There's only one umbrella between us when we meet on the square, and you toss it aside in a moment of self-conscious bravado to dance with me. It is a slow dance, close and rocking like a cradle in the icy wind. Your dark hair on my cheek stops some of the chill.

It's been a while since I last posted a journal...time sure flies by fast...especially if you got classes from 7am to 7pm with no breaks...I mean, could schools at least think of a schedule that can't kill students along the way?

Anyways, I digress. The reason I'm here is because-

(Sound of door opening off screen interrupts speech)

Fudgemonkey: Hey! You idiot! You're supposed to finish that story you're making!

Mark:...aren't you a figment of my imagination? Why the hell are you out?

Looks annoyed at author) Well, duh! If you can break the fourth wall, what makes you think I can't?

amnit...I hate these kinds of idiots.

(Turning to the audience)

I hate to say this, but we have to interrupt this show for the meantime, while I revive my creator...please change the channel or find something else more interesting than me...

(Brings out giant mallet from hidden sleeve)
